At Zitko we take giving back seriously.
Well, seriously enough that we talk about what we can do for our communities on a regular basis. Whether it’s women’s football, bake sales, tough mudder, Macmillan coffee mornings; local or international, security or recruitment we’re always looking at ways we can give back to the causes that need it.
As a growing profitable business, we’re in a fortunate position. We look at the interests of our staff, what they’re prepared to offer in time or money, and try to support in any way we can. We have an amazing team who all feel they have something to offer, and as a responsible business we want to encourage that.
As we come into 2020 we’re looking to get even more serious with a structured plan for the local and security communities. Through partnerships we’re looking to get involved in all things Cambridgeshire and in particular St Neots. Across the recruitment and security communities we’re hoping to support some of the amazing charitable work that’s already happening as well as create some new sponsorship opportunities.
There’s a lot to follow, but for now, have a look at what the partnership with Zitko means to Colin Griggs, Managing Director of the Hunts County Sports Academy, an organisation encouraging juniors to get active and get into squash, taking them from newcomers right through to international tournaments. Over the four years of supporting the Academy, Zitko has supplied seasonal shirts and sponsored tournaments. We’ve also funded coaching sessions with the likes of former world number 1, James Willstrop. We’re proud to support Colin’s work, and hope to do so for many years to come.
