Security Systems engineer - Croydon

Job Title: Senior Security Systems EngineerLocation: CroydonSalary: £38,000 - £40,000 (Dependent on Experience)

We are seeking a Senior Security Systems Engineer to join our team, responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing security systems. This role is based primarily around the Croydon area and requires a dedicated professional with strong technical abilities, IT literacy, and excellent interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Service and maintain security systems and equipment.

• Lead subcontractor interactions, ensuring high standards in line with ISO 9001.

• Maintain relevant Health & Safety training and certifications.

• Identify and report system performance or security improvement opportunities.

• Complete documentation and obtain client signatures post-service.

• Adhere to company policies, including Health & Safety and Data Protection.

• Report incidents impacting company reputation or health & safety.

Person Specification:

Essential:

• Valid UK driving licence.

• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.

• Relevant certified training in security systems maintenance and servicing.

• Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Proficiency in IT packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Desirable:

• Gallagher or Lenel training certification.

• Experience in project management and supervision.

• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications, including SharePoint and Field Service.
