Small Works Engineer - Fire for Cambridge/Romford/North London area

Zitko is delighted to be partnering with this global leader for fire safety and security solutions, to recruit for a Small Works Engineer (Fire).

Our client is seeking a customer-focused Engineer to work closely with the Operations Manager and wider branch network to complete 4–8-hour work orders and generate extra revenue into the business.

Duties will include:

• Partnering with recommendation team and engineers to drive opportunities.
• Working with the commercial seller and Key Account Managers (KAM’s) for leads not suitable for install.
• Quoting for all small works that come via the recommendation team, commercials, KAM’s or other outlets such as the enquiries via the office admin.
• Providing excellent customer care (from understanding needs to keeping contact with ETA’s, timescales, etc.) Managing each order (including stock orders) throughout the process of quotation through to the signing off the works.
• Following up on recommendations and quotes, ensuring the customer understands the reasoning and positive impact our upgrades will have.
• Looking for up-sell opportunities, for example if an upgrade to signalling has been booked, then is there potential for a panel upgrade?

Salary : Earnings in excess of £60,000, basic £32,000
