Technical Design Manager
Remote role - UK based only.Want to work directly for an end user?We are working with a really exciting start up business that, despite their age, are already well established and working with some excellent global clients including several Fortune 500 clients.As the Technical Design Manager, you will be responsible for: - managing a team of 3 in Design / Technical - working closely with existing and new customers - covering the UK, Europe and possibly further afield - taking full ownership of the design and technical department - guiding and driving the business on new technologies - developing and growing your team as the business growsThis is not your typical Design Manager role, you won't really be creating designs, this is more the validation of designs so your technical knowledge of enterprise systems is important and your leadership and managerial abilities is crucial. You will need to be an excellent leader and strong communicator both internally and externally. Client engagement is essential. You will be working remotely most of the time but there is an element of International travel, for example, when you first start working with a new client, you should expect to meet them onsite.
As the company is growing, and quite fast, you will need to be adaptable to change, have the ability to evolve in the role and be flexible to undertake different challenges that may arise. We are looking for someone with the hunger and desire to join an exciting start-up, to help them on their journey and become an integral part of the business.Package
