Technical System Administrator (Embedded Security Engineer)

We have a fantastic oppirtunity for a Security Engineer to progress their career into an embedded role for one of our clients. Offering career progression for a Technical/commissioning engineer to step into a more technical role. 

The Security System Administrator is to be responsible for configuring, maintaining and troubleshootinf enterprise level access control, video system and database applications.Security System Administrator will plan, organize, direct, control and implement application-related projects, upgrades, system migrations and commissioning with the company you will be embedded at.

Qualifications: 

• At least 1.5 years Security Industry Experience. 
• Must have Ccure 9000 and FlirVMS certification. 
• Must understand segmentation or partitioning in a system. 
• Experience configuring networks. 
• Experience and understanding of Enterprise System architecture is a plus.
• Experience standing up Physical Security Systems.

Duties: 

• Test, program and troubleshoot access control and digital video systems. 
• Follow assigned projects through to final adjustment and commissioning of installed systems. 
• Troubleshoot system/network related issues over the phone with customers and vendors. 
• Carry out and drive installations to company standard. 
• Complete system health checks and preventative system maintenance. 
• Support Project manazgers.
• Configuring devices and panels. 
• Troubleshooting field devices with local service providers. 
• Provide level 1 Break Fix support. 
• Create and Maintain system documentation. 
• To work in compliance with the Company Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, with safety of self and others in mind at all times.
• Occassional on - Call duty when required but the companies global support model will spread the work.
