At the end of last week, Zitko Group CEO George Zitko, alongside Helen Marley and Lauren Pocknell, took part in a virtual 10k run in memory of Ryan McCabe.

This event was more than just a run. It was an opportunity to reflect on the incredible impact Ryan had. Ryan was the CEO of Odro and a widely respected figure in the recruitment industry. He was known not only for his innovative thinking and leadership but also for his kindness, positivity, and dedication to helping others succeed. His influence transformed the industry, and his work continues to inspire recruitment professionals today.

Taking part in the run served as a reminder of the beauty of life and the importance of treasuring the moments we have. Ryan’s memory encourages us to embrace every day with gratitude, celebrate the people around us, and make the most of the opportunities we are given.

For some of us, this was the first run in quite some time, but knowing we were doing it for Ryan gave each step greater purpose.
