It’s no secret that there’s a shortage of good engineers in the fire & security industry. I’m here to help change that and make recruitment easier for candidates and clients.
My role is varied but typically involves manging the assessment process for Zitko Talent – an initiative designed to bring more people into the industry. I build detailed and vibrant profiles for candidates before they’re matched up with suitable employers.
I’ve also played a key role in delivering several high-volume recruitment projects, often processing thousands of applications and interviewing hundreds of candidates along the way.
Graduates, school leavers or adult re-trainers from similar engineering disciplines, people with electronics or on-the-tools backgrounds, and people with the right attitude. Fire and Security experience is not necessary, but a clear interest in the industry would naturally be a huge advantage.
I’m Chairman for Cambridgeshire County Badminton Association, but I also play, compete, coach, and volunteer within the badminton community. I also enjoy a good film or TV series, playing the piano, trying my hand at some DIY, and playing my PlayStation!
