We’re working on behalf of a leading UK-based distribution company to find a proactive and dynamic Account Manager to join the team. In this role, you’ll gather market intelligence to identify growth opportunities and research new accounts through LinkedIn, social media, and search engines. You’ll manage accurate project pipelines for sustainable revenue growth and collaborate with internal teams to develop strategies that boost market share within specific product lines.
Becoming a product expert will enable you to build lasting relationships and lead informed sales conversations. You’ll also partner with key personnel to create win-win strategies, support marketing campaigns, and streamline sales processes to encourage proactive and structured sales activity. From conducting competitive benchmarking to confidently articulating the brand’s message, you’ll play a key role in driving up-sell, cross-sell, and customer satisfaction to meet or exceed monthly sales targets.
We’re looking for candidates with proven experience as an Account Manager or Business Development Manager, a bonus if you have experience in new business development for WiFi and Networking installers. A strong track record of achieving above-market growth over three years or more is essential, as is the ability to leverage valuable industry contacts. You’ll need an analytical mindset, CRM expertise, and ideally a familiarity with converged IP systems across infrastructure, security, networking, and AV - although not essential.
