An unique opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Manager (BDM) to join the scottish team of a leading name in electrical compliance services. This role is ideal for a results-driven sales professional who thrives on building relationships and delivering high-quality service, or someone knowledgeable about the electrical market and looking to step into sales.

The Role

Working with a steady stream of pre-qualified leads from a dedicated Lead Generation Team, you’ll focus on consultative selling to businesses across various sectors. Your mission will be to convert opportunities into long-term partnerships, ensuring clients receive expert electrical compliance solutions that keep their businesses safe and compliant.

Key Responsibilities

✔ Engage with inbound leads to understand customer needs and provide tailored compliance solutions.✔ Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers.✔ Consult with clients to identify the best compliance services for their business.✔ Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.✔ Manage the full sales process from initial contact to contract closure.✔ Achieve and exceed revenue targets while maintaining a focus on quality over volume.✔ Keep CRM records up to date and provide regular performance reports.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management, ideally within compliance, electrical services, or facilities management.
  • Knowledge of the electrical industry or related fields.
  • A consultative sales approach with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Proven ability to build rapport and close deals.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Results-driven mindset with a passion for high-quality service delivery.
