Multiskilled Fire & Security Engineer - Dorset

Multi-skilled across multiple technologies and product ranges, our engineers possess a wide range of knowledge built up over many years. Customer service oriented and driven to deliver the very best levels of engineering, our engineers take pride in their daily work.

Responsibilities

  • Install/Commission/Servicing of our wide range of field equipment including, Fire and Intruder Alarms systems, CCTV, Access Control, Audio Visual, Public address & Voice Alarm systems
  • Provide high levels of customer services.
  • Reactive call outs to site, with an aim to provide a first-time fix.
  • Provide on-site technical support and solutions to customers during both reactive and planned visits.
  • Complete documentation in line with company standards.
  • Work as part of a 24/7 on call rota.

Package:

    • Salary from £32,000
    • Vehicle – Car or Van (can be used for private use)
    • Hours of work - 8 hour day Mon to Fri, generally 8am to 4:30pm or 8:30am to 5pm. 
    • 25 days holiday

    • Other benefits – Sick Pay – Up to 8 weeks of paid sick leave after 5 years of service (2 weeks for first 2 years of service, 4 weeks for years 3 to 5 and then 8 weeks thereafter

      • Offer and promote lots of opportunities for manufacturer training and accreditation (Honeywell, Genetec, Milestone, Gallagher, Bosch, Avigilon, Aruba, Fortinet, Commscope)
      • Where you have lapsed ECS or H&S accreditation (IPAF, IPAF Harness, PASMA, Asbestos Awareness) we will look to get engineers up to a minimum mandatory training level
      • Expansion of career options – As a company heavily involved with networking, Engineers can skill-up on manufacturer training and accreditation (Aruba, Fortinet)
