Key Responsibilities:

Client & Stakeholder Management:

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring seamless communication between sales, operations, and installation teams.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring projects are delivered to their satisfaction.

• Attend project meetings, provide updates, and distribute minutes to relevant stakeholders.

Project Delivery & Management:

• Oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle from handover to final completion.

• Manage project schedules, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery.

• Supervise installation teams, ensuring high standards of quality and compliance.

• Identify, price, and process variation orders efficiently.

• Provide accurate monthly forecasts on project completion, costs, and any potential overruns.

• Ensure all client dependencies are met and any programme impacts are formally notified.

• Work closely with finance teams to ensure valuations, payment applications, and invoices are submitted on time.

Site Assessment, Health & Safety Compliance:

• Conduct site assessments, reviewing requirements and planning necessary resources.

• Produce and manage Health & Safety documentation, including risk assessments and method statements.

• Ensure full compliance with HSE guidelines, CDM regulations, and industry standards.

• Conduct toolbox talks and ensure best practices in workplace safety.

Technical Oversight & Installation Process:

• Gain a thorough understanding of installation processes to ensure successful project execution.

• Organize pre-installation site visits, reviewing technical requirements and operational needs.

• Oversee system testing, commissioning, and final handover.

• Ensure all documentation complies with NSI / ISO 9001:2015 standards.

Skills & Competencies Required:

• Excellent time-management skills and ability to meet deadlines.

• Strong IT literacy, including MS Office and ideally MS Project.

• Problem-solving mindset with a can-do attitude.

• Strong communication skills to build trust and rapport with clients and teams.

• Commercial awareness, including experience with project budgets and contract management.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multiple teams.

• A proactive approach to project planning and issue resolution.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in security systems installation project management.

• Background in fire and security systems, with experience in system design, commissioning, and maintenance.

• Familiarity with JCT/NEC contracts.

• Experience managing integrated security system projects, including IP-based access control & CCTV.

• Understanding of CDM regulations and prior experience working as a CDM principal contractor.

• IOSH Managing Safely, SSSTS, or SMSTS qualification preferred.

• ECS certification (or willingness to obtain).

• Full UK driving license.

Technical Knowledge:

• CCTV: Hikvision, Panasonic, Bosch, Samsung, Victor, Axis, Genetec Omnicast & Synergis.

• Access Control: Paxton, ACT, C-Cure Level 1 & 2.

• Intruder Alarms: Galaxy, Texecom.

• Fire Systems: Apollo.

• Industry Certifications: Enhanced DBS, IPAF.
