Service Engineer (Fire)

The ideal candidate may or may not have experience in servicing, commissioning and reactive day works for fire alarm systems, full training will be given.

An electrical background and 2 years post apprenticeship experience is desirable.

Previous Fire system experience is a major advantage.

Experience of

• Addressable and Conventional fire alarms systems.
• Electrical or electronic qualifications and experience are desirable.
• Emergency lighting systems.
• Full clean driving license.
• Excellent communication both written and verbal.
• Good interpersonal skills to be able to work in a team.
• Understanding and working knowledge of IS3218 and IS3217 standards.
• IT skills (excel, word, etc).
• Training will be provided in all aspects of the job role.

Participation in the on-call rota is part of the job role. Vehicle, laptop, phone and pension provided as part of the role.
