Job Title: Branch Operations Manager (Midlands & South England)

Location: Midlands and South England, primarily based out of the Bristol branch

Salary: £45,000 per annum

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and proactive Branch Operations Manager to oversee operations across the Midlands and South of England, with a primary base at our Bristol branch. This role offers a unique opportunity for someone who can bring technical fire safety knowledge and a talent for people management. The Branch Operations Manager will collaborate closely with our recently promoted Managing Director, who is also based in Bristol, to drive branch operations forward.

This role is perfect for someone with leadership experience in a technical field, but we are also open to candidates who are earlier in their career but have the drive, technical interest, and potential to grow into the role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Branch Leadership: Oversee daily branch operations, ensuring efficient workflows, strong team dynamics, and alignment with company objectives.

• People Management: Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing team; manage performance, development, and motivation across the branch. Strong people skills are essential.

• Technical Oversight: Leverage your fire safety or related technical expertise to guide branch operations and support the team on technical queries, industry regulations, and quality standards.

• Collaboration with MD: Work closely with our Managing Director to implement strategic objectives and ensure continuity in management, especially during his transition into the new role.

• Operations Management: Monitor branch KPIs, budgets, and compliance requirements. Ensure our services meet high standards of quality and safety for our clients.

• Customer Relationships: Engage with customers, respond to their needs, and help drive business growth in the region by maintaining a customer-focused mindset.

Skills and Experience:

• Proven management experience, ideally in an operational or technical role within fire safety or a similar industry.
• Strong technical aptitude and familiarity with fire safety standards, industry regulations, or related technical knowledge.
• Exceptional people management skills, with a passion for coaching, mentoring, and developing teams.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Flexibility to travel across the Midlands and South of England.
