Security Business Development Manager (Cloud & weapon detection)

Are you an experienced and dynamic Sales and Business Development professional with a keen interest of cutting-edge technology?

Our client is seeking an individual to spearhead the sales and development of the business, centered around cloud-based CCTV and access control systems, and specialist weapons detection. This is an opportunity open to a sales person within the technical/security/IT and related fields who has a real passion for the product and the market. You will be able to develop this section of the business as it grows, with the opportunity to expand your coverage as you embed and develop within the company.

Key Responsibilities:Sales Strategy and Execution:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive sales of our cloud-based CCTV, access control systems, and unique weapons detection products.
  • Identify and target potential customers, including businesses, government agencies, and other organizations.
  • Conduct market research to identify new sales opportunities and maintain a robust sales pipeline.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to clients, highlighting the features and benefits of our technology solutions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly.

Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations to expand market reach.
  • Develop and execute business development plans to achieve company growth objectives.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote our products and services.

Technical Expertise:

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in cloud-based CCTV and access control technologies.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients during the sales process.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to ensure customer requirements are met and projects are delivered successfully.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare regular reports on sales activities, business development initiatives, and market feedback.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making.
